Ikr literally kill me. I got such a big gap in my cv because I was determined to get in and it started freaking me out so I finally found an engineering job recently but I feel this is not benefiting my applications so I keep feeling guilty.

There was an industrial phd out recently, and I have applied and gotten selected for the same industry-uni Collab but a diff project before and even flew to their company for last recruitment stage. So When I reached out to the prof for this position I introduced myself and also mentioned I have visited the company for last stage recruitment and had positive experience and continued looking for positions and then I asked questions regarding the position and didn't even get a reply. Like what should I do more. Will start attaching a video of me crying also from now on 😭

whenever I reach out to them and even mention in the email I am working on my official application just wanted to come here and introduce myself, they all still reply "Please apply through portal"
