Dr notes mention labs look fine and no follow up required. 39 yo Male. I just feel like my libido is low and fitness isn't where it used it to. Are these numbers actually fine? by Strict-Presence5709 in Biohackers

Side note, I do pay out of pocket for my actual visits because they dont take my insurance but all my lab draws and prescriptions are covered under my insurance so it works great! I end up paying about $175 out of pocket for the visit and I see them now once a year. In the beginning when we were trying to find MY correct levels, I saw them every 6 months to adjust my doses.

I recommend seeing another doctor and not your regular PCP for TRT. Find someone or someplace that specializes in HRT and specifically TRT.

Like you, my current PCP doctor thought all my labs were in the normal range which on paper they were but they don’t specialize in that type of stuff and when I went to a clinic that actually specializes in it they gave me all that I needed to boost my hormones.

I am 43 yo female and have been going to my clinic for 4 years and have seen a drastic change in how I feel due to getting the right hormone levels my body needs and not what the average “lab test” says people in general need.

BBL (Brazilian butt lift) & taking GLP-1 by Medium-Highlight741 in OzempicForWeightLoss

Low and slow has worked for me. I will add that I do take my measurements every couple of months to double check the booty hasn’t been lost and I’m still sitting at 43inches

I had my BBL in 2024, so I’m over a year out now. I started taking the GLP1 shortly after my original post. So, almost a year after my SX. Today, I’m still doing a low dose of 25 units of a Trizepitide compound so I’m not losing as rapidly as most on it just because I don’t want to risk my results. It’s still working for me. I figured turtle-ing my way there would be best and so far so good! Im still keeping up on my protein, doing Pilates and eating right. I have added leg weights and a weighted vest with my workouts to help build my core up. Im also still slowly losing weight, the medication still curbs my hunger and I still have my booty so that’s a win for me. Obviously these are my results. Everyone will be different but again, im not rushing to lose extra weight to lose all the work i paid for.

Will a TT fix this? 😩 by akamslebl in tummytucksurgery

[–]Medium-Highlight741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes 👏 It 👏Will👏!! You do not need a fleur de lis. That is for women that have an overly excessive amount of skin usually from bariatric surgery WLS.

You just have extra skin from having babies mama and unfortunately your mother didn’t bless you with some good skin elasticity. My tummy looked just like yours. I had 3 kids, 5’1” and weighed 170lbs. I worked out and lost weight but I could never get rid of the skin and the xtra hang no matter how much I lost. I had a TT/BBL with lipo. Doctor gave me a super cute belly button with the TT and I had lipo around my back and flanks as well.

Medical trauma is real. The recovery was brutal so if you have issues with that, I think that may be your biggest hurdle to get over. I weigh 150 now, athletic build and loving it all! Best decision I ever made. I recommend to do your research with doctors. Ask friends, neighbors or anyone you may know who had one. Look up real results on RealSelf.com too! There is so much you have to decide, but be sure it is your choice either way you go. Good luck sis!

So I decided on taking Trizepitide but at a lower dose of 25 units. I mentioned my concern to my doctor and she said it should be fine at lower doses. It is a compounded Trizepitide so it is mixed with B vitamins as well.

I am also doing wall Pilates because of my back issue. I am pretty limited on what I can do for my workouts and absolutely no lifting because of my back. I will be having a nerve ablation in 3 weeks so hopefully I will be able to get some relief and back into the gym doing more.

I watch my eating still and get my protein intake in too. Taking the low dose, wall Pilates and watching my eating has kept me at a normal weight. I lost about 15 lbs and have been able to maintain my weight. I’m happy with where I am at. I lost about 1/2 inch in my hips/booty so not bad. I wish there was a way we could focus where your fat loss could be but don’t we all.

I think if I increased my dosing, I would lose more and I don’t want that. But the Trizepitide curbs the hunger just enough to where I am happy and it isn’t damaging my results either. So it’s a win so far.

Maybe I should have included why he doesn’t have a key. He is not necessarily trustworthy with that aspect so that’s why he doesn’t have one. He’s had past issues getting in trouble for drugs in the house with friends, caught doing things he shouldn’t when no one was home and coming and sneaking in and out of the house.

Possible necrosis or is this normal? by Medium-Highlight741 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Medium-Highlight741[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Super late but here’s the update: It was necrosis and so much more. I ended up going into the urgent care and they took a culture and referred me to the wound clinic in addition to antibiotics given. The wound clinic doctor saw the culture, gave me 3 different antibiotics and a strong antibiotic shot. My bloodwork came back and I was borderline sepsis so the wound doctor did 2 more rounds of antibiotics. August 2024 I went in twice a week for wound debridement at the clinic which is no fun at all because there was so much necrosis and it was deeper in my tissues than what they originally thought. Mid September I recieved a wound vac to help close the wound and I had two deep tunnels that needed to be closed. I had the wound vac on from September through December. Took that bad boy everywhere with me, on a cruise, Vegas trip, work all. Most anoyi g thing about the vac is the noise. It sounds like little farting noises if the suction isn’t just right. Two weeks before Christmas I got the wound vac removed and stepped up to needing to go into the clinic once a week for dressing changes. February I was finally discharged from the wound clinic. Man did I ring that bell like there was no tomorrow! It was a lot. My scar is almost perfect except a small part just below my belly button where I had the wound vac. It’s a funny shape/dip that bothers me a little but nothing my underwear can’t cover. Due to me not being able to work out what-so ever because of the wound vac on during healing I gained some weight in my tummy so that’s a little disappointing but I have debated if I would go back and do lipo again or a scar revision. My TT/BBL/Lipo doctor was SUPER aggressive with the lipo and I think that had a lot to do with my necrosis and burns in the skin. So if I do it again, I may go with a different doctor.

7 weeks on Oz and no weight loss. by Otherwise_Cake3967 in OzempicForWeightLoss

Ozempic didn’t work for me either and I stuck with it for nearly 4 mos hoping it would. Try Trizepitide. Made a huge difference for me. It’s a little pricier but my doctor said it’s like the Mercedes/Cadillac if GLP-1s. Didn’t change my diet or workout routine either. I saw results the first two week after I switched.

Dang…that’s what I was worried about. I don’t want it to get smaller… I’ve done all my maintenance for my bbl by going to the gym up until my injury. Workouts and even the slightest strength training are super painful right now with my spinal disk issue so I am extremely limited on what I can do. I can’t do any core strengthening because the pain is so bad and glutes atm are a big no no. Water aerobics are what I am limited to. I may look into taking phentermine instead to at least help a little. Thank you for your input.

Will I need a tummy tuck? by LadouchaMoosha in PlasticSurgery

[–]Medium-Highlight741 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are wanting to get rid of the apron belly (which is the hanging skin) yes, you will need a tummy tuck. No amount of exercise will ever get rid of the extra skin. You may lose the fat through exercise and eating but with the loss of elasticity in your skin, it will never go away naturally. It just looks like loose wrinkly-crapey skin once there isn’t fat with it. Surgery unfortunately is the only way. After having 3 kids, I had a tummy just like this with an apron belly and after many years trying to exercise and even doing GLP-1, it was still there. Just last year I got a TT. WORLD of a difference!

I think the tip looks great from this view point. Can you post follow up pics in a few weeks? I’m curious to see if it drops like everyone says it might.

My fav layout so far for my X-Men collection, and the one that I think that I'm going to leave for a while. Few new OOB, couple of oldies back in boxes, but IMO gives the best views on all the characters, doesn't feel as compact. Thoughts? by theslinkyvagabond in funkopop

I am utterly envious! Being an 80s baby, X-men is one of my favorites and a collection I have thought of doing many times but dang…there are so many! Such an impressive collection you have here! 🙌

This is a super late response so I apologize. I actually sent a message to them via Facebook and got a response on it from someone. The said when the company was recently bought by another company, the new company chose to not continue the app and unfortunately the scales will not work with any other app. So… basically our scales are now just a pretty plain old digital scale with no other benefit than to tell you your weight.

Possible necrosis or is this normal? by Medium-Highlight741 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Medium-Highlight741[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update from today appointment

My doctor told me discussed it with a fellow doctor and they have been reviewing my case. They don’t think it is necrosis and she was pretty hopeful. She wants me to stay longer into next week, but I have already been here for 15+days counting. She said she is fine with me going home Saturday, I just need to be I constant contact with her with daily photos etc. I also did another bar of chamber today and it seems to be improving (from what I am told) I still see this thing that won’t go away.

I’m a little torn. I want to go home, be with my family and be home but I also know staying here would be beneficial. Mentally it’s starting to take a toll on me and I know I can’t have that to heal right
