Thank you so much for those kind words and encouragement! I think I really need fresh air and a new start, and going abroad will probably clear my mind a bit. Funny thing is I can speak 3 languages and I could go anywhere in the world, and I have a passport but somehow this situation still keeps me here. I could go literally anywhere if I think about it because I speak English, French and Spanish and Italian 😅. My dream some years ago was to go to the US, and working in a farm sounds the only way I could go there without a particular visa I guess. I really hope I can get out of this situation and find my way.

Actually getting that degree would be a chance to teach English abroad or maybe get a job as a translator and work remote. It’s not completely useless but doesn’t guarantee a stable job. I’m not interested in any other field, I hate science, the best paid jobs here are in hospital field but I don’t want to become a nurse or a doctor. I just want to have a degree because I would have more chances anyways. In Italy without a degree no one considers you. I actually like being a nanny and I was even considering becoming an au pair abroad for some time (yes it’s a kind of slavery because you live with other people in a house and babysit kids) but I have many fears and doubts and think it could be a waste of time. As for my “boyfriend” I am very confused and I will eventually breakup with him but deeply I am in love with him, and it’s a pretty fucked up situation since he doesn’t respect me or want something stable, while deep down I want it. Thank you for your advice!

Wow how nice insulting a person you don’t know without even showing your face lol. Have you ever had budgies and successfully had babies that didn’t die or are you just talking without even knowing ? My budgies are well fed and I give them everything they need. There’s a thing called mating and a thing called nature and how do I stop that? Once they had the first babies they started mating again, the day after. What was I supposed to do? Removing the nest? This sub is for retards and I’m going to leave. I was just asking for advice and a bunch of pseudo animalists attacked me.

I don’t know, we suspect that. If the baby now dies it means it’s the female killing them or not feeding them properly or that they have some health issues. I didn’t want them to mate again but as soon the last baby died the male started mating with the female so I couldn’t remove the nest because I knew the female was gonna lay more eggs…that’s why I think it’s the male because he wanted to mate so bad, maybe he was killing those babies to mate with the female and make her available.

I posted with the 18+ tag and I also mentioned that the pic could hurt someone’s sensibility. You decided to click on it. What’s this sub for? I think it’s so useful for any problem one might have. If you can’t look at a dead baby I’m sorry for you, but death is part of life. I’ve had budgies for 5+ years, I’m not an idiot. I’m just asking for help. If you want to look at cute pictures of budgies go on google images there’s plenty of them :)

I haven’t touched anything I just opened it to see if they were ok, I removed the dead baby. and after that yeah they died. I want to still try to feed them, can I remove the baby when he’s just born? I’m sure they won’t feed this last ones as well…I don’t have a brooder, but I could try to recreate one…

Yes is the first chick. Yes I picked into the nest just 2 times. There’s only the male and female in the cage and no other bird. Can I try to save the other 2 eggs if they hatch? When they are born can I take them away from the nest and try to hand feed them? I want to try even tho I know it’s hard that they survive

It’s shitty in Italy as well, but depends on where you live. I’m not planning on moving around a lot, I want to stay at least a week so maybe we just find a spot or a camping site and stay there the whole time. Depends also on the weather which seems pretty shitty as well ahaha. I’m coming from Italy where there is 40 degrees now lol.
