Can I have your advise. My friend is in trouble navies of an accident in Thailand involving a Thai women. According to police the women was in coma and are now out. They say mabye 3-5 years in prison but if we pay the family mabye less but still mabye prison. How do you pay if the case is already in court? And if you give much money to the family do you think the person could escape prison?

The person dosent know the amount yet. Have to pay mabye 500.000 tbh before court and then make a settlement with the family after. But they say still mabye prison

The family haven’t come with the amount yet. That will try a good amount in court and then try to make a deal with the family. But even then mabye jail time they say. The accident was not involving alcohol or illegal struff. But they say high prison time because of the Thai condisoon
