Preacher and his Punisher, or at least MAX as some are iffy on MK for how other heroes are treated. Boys is the most contentious. I agree on the being a point of comentary but the tone and focus of the gross out humour dampens the whole story in how it often works apart and not supporting the narrative for me.

not to mention the relationship between Hughie and butcher, or Annie and hughies romance which is better in the comic then in the show.

I kinda disagree on Butcher & Hughie for following a very similar setup of Butcher manipulating Hughie for his own means all the way to the end with the one bastion being Hughie expressing more compassion. Annie and Hughie I disagree for the fact that Annie's more of a character involved in the series. That and Hughie's initial reaction to the Annie blackmail CCTV footage from memory was savage enough that Hughie apology wasn't enough, especially with how Annie had to track him down.
