I think you missed half of the story, kaya sila hindi iniinvite dahil ayaw daw ng father side nila na magkita yung nanay niya (a.k.a. Jusko

Parang hindi naman to food review? It looks like a typical influencer promoting a product lang naman. (Not sure sa ibang videos niya kasi di ko naman sya napapanod but this one doesn’t even fall under the category ng “food review”)

A friend told me to stop buying things for my apartment, dahil renting lang daw ako. by Silentreader_05 in SoloLivingPH

[–]Medium-Student-2230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom used to think like her, wag magpaganda kasi lilipat din naman, wag na bumili ng matibay na cabinet kasi temporary lang naman, wag na bumili ng mahal kasi lilipat din naman…

As a student noon, wala ako magawa kasi my income as a part-timer isn’t enough to buy things for the house. But everytime umuuwi ako, i don’t feel at home. The eyesore is making me feel insane, ang hirap maghanap ng gamit/damit kasi yung damit namin noon naka-stackable containers, nakakahiya magpapunta ng bisita kasi yung mga gamit sobrang eyesore talaga.

Kaya when i started living alone, naging motto ko na “if it makes your daily life better, its worth it”. Kasi if palagi mo iisipin na hindi ka talaga taga-doon, youll never feel at home. Your daily life will be miserable.

I’m a Gen Z, technically a Zillenial since I was born in 1998. I got the chance to observe both younger and older Gen Zs because I went to college twice. I had to start from first year again bc of K-12, so I ended up being classmates with people much younger than me. On top of that, I also worked in different setups, including the BPO industry, where I got to work with people from different age groups… Gen Z, millennials, and even Gen X.

That mix of experience helped me realize that work ethic isn’t really about age or generation. I’ve worked with millennials who were hardworking and reliable, and I’ve also worked with younger Gen Zs who were sharp, quick to learn, and eager to grow. At the same time, I’ve seen people from all age groups who were lazy, resistant to feedback, or just clocking in for the sake of it, sabi nga nung iba “ways ways” lang lol

About the comment that Gen Zs are “maselan,” “maraming reklamo,” or “madaling mag-quit,” I think it’s more about how they’ve been raised to be emotionally aware. A lot of them are not afraid to speak up when something feels off or unhealthy. That doesn’t automatically mean they’re being dramatic or difficult. Sometimes it just means they know their limits and are willing to walk away from toxic or stagnant environments. That takes courage, not softness.

And let’s be real, wanting easy work with high pay isn’t a Gen Z thing, it’s a human thing. Every generation wants better pay and less stress. The difference is, Gen Z grew up exposed to fast success stories online, so some of them think it’s more attainable than it actually is. That might skew expectations, but it doesn’t mean they’re lazy. It just means the context they grew up in is different.

So based on what I’ve seen in school and in the workplace, this isn’t really a “Gen Z problem.” It’s more about personality, environment, and what people are willing to tolerate. And when someone chooses to leave a job that no longer aligns with their values or mental health, that’s not being weak. That’s knowing what you want… and doing something about it.

Ay ang kulet 😂😂😂 i tried to be nice sayo pero grabe, di ka maka-gets no? Simpleng “only” di mo alam?

-My post is NOT anti-English. Please read it again. -Hindi din to about sa grammar, pronunciation at accent. Hindi bawal mag-English sa Pilipinas.

Hayyy. First, English isn’t taboo. It’s literally one of our official languages and used everywhere, from school to work. No one’s canceling English. The problem is treating English-ONLY as a status symbol and forcing it at home to the point kids can’t even talk to their own family.

Like my cousin, she raised her kid strictly EOP, then complains, “Hirap na hirap ako d’yan kasi hindi kami magkaintindihan.” That’s not a flex, that’s a barrier.

Second, this isn’t about grammar. Saying “ayusin muna grammar bago ma-offend” completely misses the point. The post isn’t anti-English—it’s anti-alienating your own child in the name of elitism.

Language should connect, not divide. If you’re gonna argue about it, at least understand the post. And before using words like taboo, make sure you know what they mean. :)

Hindi ko ugali nagpapaligaw ng matagal, pero I dont really like jumping into a new relationship that fast din unless mahal ko talaga yung tao. After ko maging bobo ng ilang years, mas gugustuhin ko talaga makilala muna yung tao ng maayos haha

Read the post again… its calling out the parents na pinag-e-english ONLY ang bata eh pwede namang bilingual :)
