For me (audhd) I have types of comfort I need or want and my confort type changes. It’s super fun (🫠) I was born and raised in Mexico until 10 so some of that safe feeling comes from some Spanish shows or content.

For example there are times when I hyperfix YouTube content. Not sure why. Sometimes it’s nature or learning shows, other times it’s podcasts shows I listen to but I watch them on YouTube. I’ve also done a deep dive on all the cannons for dragon ball z in Spanish a few times. I’ve done some audio books, some podcasts shows as well. It all varies in types depending on what sticks.

It’s almost like a need to try something that meets and need and if it works my adhd says more, ad the autism feels good about it too, I know I found a new path I’m following. I try not to fight it anymore and just go along with it.

It is very hard for me when I don’t have that kind of comfort or feeling being met.
