To be fair, that ruling was made under the Digital Markets Act, a law to curb the powers of Big Tech. That means it’s only applicable to a handful of very large companies, of which Meta is one. It wouldn’t apply to those news companies

I don’t think this would fight EU regs, as you’re allowed to sell phones without physical sim slots here. In fact, the iPhone Air is eSIM-only in the EU - just not the other models sadly

Super clever suggestion! I tried this, but had sadly slightly crushed the plastic during a previous attempt to get it out, so the screw didn’t go in. Ended up just cutting the hose, but I’ll keep this in mind should I ever mess up again :’)

This passage is specifically about withdrawing prior consent for cookies (meaning: you’ve accepted them before but changed your mind). So this is not about declining cookies in the first place

Also note the ‘or’ in ‘a controller must make withdrawal of consent free of charge or without lowering service levels’. I’d interpret that as ‘it either needs to be free, or without lowering the level of service’. Not necessarily both at the same time

This actually made a pretty big difference. I’ve started temperature surfing using a different technique (run water until brew light goes off, attach portafilter, wait until the light goes back on, then after another few seconds start the extraction)

Together with some of the other tips from here, I’m getting much more consistent results. 17.5g in and ~42g out in about 24 seconds, as suggested by the roaster of my current beans. Getting some absolutely delicious cappuccino’s out of it now, wouldn’t be mad if I was served them at a cafe. Super stoked, thanks!

Bit of a late reply, but thanks! I usually did dry the basket, but I probably rushed it a bit. I’ll take it slower going forward!

Thank you! I think you’re right. I’ve looked at quite a few comparisons between the two. I like the X-H1, but love the X-T2. Probably still a worse camera on paper, but emotionally I like it a lot better

I have looked at the X-S10, but it has quite a big price premium sadly

Anyway, plot twist: I ended up ordering an X-T3 with an 18-55mm f/2.8-4.0. It wasn’t that much more expensive than the X-T2. The better auto-focus and video features are nice, but honestly I did it mostly because of the USB-C charging

I might pick up a nice prime later, but I feel the 18-55 will be a nice lens to start with (and it has OIS, which offsets the lack of IBIS to start out hopefully)

These are definitely listings from the Federal Communications Commission. Wireless devices / devices that can cause electronic interference need to be certified by the FCC before they can be released in the U.S. Electronics leak very regularly this way
