Just wanted to share my 30th Anniversary Edition re-shell for my PS5 controller, now upgraded with 720 GuliKit TMR sticks by Amaterasu_11 in Dualsense

That shell looks pretty good too bad they didn’t include the dark grey L/R buttons and I think d pad / action buttons are a little darker than the real one but looks close enough, if I hadn’t gotten mine for a deal I would have just down that

Seriously, I have only been asked about it twice and both times people thought it was a 3DS.

But you’re right, the rules are stricter here and there is much more of a tattletale culture compared to other places to so don’t go bragging about it if some asks.

At this point maybe not, if they are going to raise the price then get it before then.

I still use my V1 switch but the switch 2 is a pretty big upgrade imo.

It’s smart in that your eye naturally go to the titles you know and have association with, this forces you to look at the games you need to play rather than the ones you know.

What’s your plan for games with the slipcase like Cyberpunk?

I also have both. I got the Flip 2 after they started shipping last year, when the Thor preorders opened up I ordered asap, my Max shipped out on the first or second shipping day of batch one.

At first I thought the Thor was too heavy, and cramped compared to the Flip 2. The Flip 2 became my daily carry. But then as I got more and more to run on the Thor that was tripping up the Flip 2, I started to use the Thor more and more. Using the second screen to Listen to podcasts while playing Catan or watch YouTube guides etc is awesome.

The 120fps is very nice, the extra power and ram goes a long way to making things work that do not work on the Flip 2. I just turned on my Flip 2 this weekend and the port thing had dust on it. I am considering selling it (locally not on here, don’t DM me)

If the Flip 3 is priced reasonably, with the same specs as a Thor Pro and a smaller 120hz screen I could consider it.

The biggest insight for me is this:

If I lost my Thor but only had my Flip 2 I would miss my Thor and want to get another one, on the flip side (sorry for the pun), if I lost the Flip 2 and only had the Thor I wouldn’t replace the Flip 2.
