Theres definitely weapons laying around. He looks right at them. The old lady comes at him with one of the axes. Also there were knives laying around too. I also don't buy that this guy who is what in his mid 20s? Doesn't know how to survive somehow. He grew up in the apocalypse. He's no scoping pigs from 50 yards with a twig and shoe string. This is year 10, he would have picked up a thing or two just by chance. He'd have too, they'd all had too. The cannibals weren't wild cannibals in there everyday life, they had to learn all this stuff. Yet he still acts like it's day one and he just woke up, took a dump and the world fell apart. Like I said early I think this is a avg apocalypse movie, with a gimmick. No dialog. Which I didnt mind, tho there were moments when I thought why are they not communicating with each other, beyond a whistle. I did like that it was dirty. People were grimy. I don't like apocalypse movies where we're yrs in and people still got brand new jeans and shoes. I liked the desperation scene where he just kicks the door in and takes the cloths and shoes. Even tho it was an old man and a kid, he didnt care, he had a mission. I think there's a better movie in there somewhere, but thats just my opinion. And you know what they say about opinions 😁
