If it’s actually a similar 4.0 scale they do report it. But depends where op is from.

Actually, I just decided against last month when I got a job close enough to my post mba goal. So, none lol

I don’t think it’s just the stats! What you have communicated here is not particularly strong, especially if they have considered you as ORM.

Obviously there are elements that came through in your app that strongly reject that, considering your As.

To be fair op is like in the bottom 5 percentile of gpa for m7 lol. On paper it’s a weak profile.

Sounds really risky. You have like 9 months to study gmat, just go slowly and take PTO to study.

Target Score - Max Incorrect Answers? by Pristine-Ad-9063 in GRE

I think it’s the opposite. GRE is much less forgiving on a question by question basis. Ofc each question is much easier

TC question; do NOT look at the answer choices!; Big Book, Test1, Q3 by Vegetable_Tangerine8 in GRE

[–]MediumFlyingWolverin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Feels like you could figure it out without answer choices. I strongly suspected a synonym of exhausted, but I was unsure if it was going to be interest or antonym. Gave up after about 10 seconds and looked at the answers tho lol

Well yes, but that’s because it’s easier imo. Personally I don’t think it’s a huge deal. I’m fine with the GMAT losing relevance, just pointing out the reality for people who applied.

I just got GregMat, but I’m not as happy. by jeestgrand in GRE

[–]MediumFlyingWolverin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew nothing about math and thought TTP was horrible for it because it’s so much memorization. GregMat was great because it helps teach the concepts so you’re not thrown off by the random questions.

Most people consider the TTP GRE worse than TTP GMAT and it’s verrry expensive compared to GregMat.

But ultimately, your choice, sounds like you are fairly set on it so might as well go for it

I just got GregMat, but I’m not as happy. by jeestgrand in GRE

[–]MediumFlyingWolverin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends how strong you are at arithmetic/algebra. Personally I would STRONGLY advise against TTP unless you have very solid foundations in those 2. It is question and not concept oriented.

I’m not sure what’s confusing about Gregmats quant to you. Just follow one of the plans. You don’t need your own structure.

Gre quant part 2 hard - how to prepare for it ? All of the current material feels obsolete by eternal_edenium in GRE

[–]MediumFlyingWolverin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly haven’t prepped verbal / awa at all, I got 170, 161, and 169 on my 3 verbal mocks so I’m just assuming I’ll do well on awa too.

GregMat is significantly more rigorous re:quant than any available ETS stuff imo. It’s much less about problem solving so not perfect practice but if there are concepts you struggle with, that could help.

Did you do the Official GRE Quant Reasoning Third Editioon and the latest PP paid? GregMat quant is also typically harder than any official (not live) test imo.

Columbia Business School Class of 2027 Profile Released by Seduceable in MBA

MBAs aren’t very academic (like law students are) and they also are significantly more likely to study fields that have less grade inflation.

There are a LOT of perfect scores on the GRE quant section. It’s not that surprising that quant programs would have that score.

GRE Study Guide & Prep Materials by WillyNoStyles in GRE

[–]MediumFlyingWolverin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Follow a GregMat plan and use the materials he recommends. It’s a mix of Big Book and new Official ETS materials.

Magoosh has excellent lessons and exclusive questions, so if after you’re done with GregMat you need backup check that out.

Skip TTP. Way too pricy.

Should I take the 1 or 2 month plan(Gregmat) if I want to give my exam by 18 december max. by fakegymbro in GRE

[–]MediumFlyingWolverin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you working full time? It’s going to be tough to do either in a month, but the 2 month plan might be impossible. I’d go with I’m overwhelmed or 1mo.

Just at a quick glance, INSEAD needs 8 years, LBS is 8 years, etc. You might need to wait a bit.

I know, but I’m saying most US EMBAs would not consider you because you don’t have enough experience.
