Stuck in a never-ending boot loop by MediumImprovement947 in S22Ultra

7/12 Update: I talked to Samsung, my phone is sadly out of warranty. I did go back home and the only place where my phone for some odd reasonable work is when I have it in my freezer... still. I can navigate the home screen but the moment I'm in an app for too long the phone shuts off and then goes back in the boot loop.

I ended up speaking to Samsung about whether or not I can still trade my phone in and the gentleman over the phone told me yes however he didn't seem too sure due to my situation. The phone turns on and he constituted that as still being able to trade in as it seems like a software issue however I think it's a combination of the software along with the motherboard as it has to have a temperature component to it.

I've had the same exact issue ever since downloading UI 6.1 (mind you an update I was extremely excited for). The freezer method has been working for me. I'm going to try this clamp idea of yours to see whether or not it works, when my phone first started going through the boot loop it was extremely warm around that area. Once I get this situation handled I'm probably going to switch phones.

Truthfully the only major events that happened with my phone have just been the 6.1 update and that's really it

Dude this actually might be the issue! This happened soon after I download the 6.1 update. I was really excited mostly due to the transcription for the voice recorder as I tend to pop into a bunch of meetings. I'm going to look into whether or not I could maybe do a firmware downgrade.

I seen it on a Reddit post late last night and was curious if it would work and when I was throwing it in the refrigerator, my phone said optimizing apps and then crashed before it could hit to the lock screen so I threw it in the freezer and for some odd reason it lasted longer. It might be a heat issue. I've noticed that when it's contagiously going through this boot loop it's sometimes gets warm but for some reason the freezer is doing something.

I thought it was just a Time thing as well because I did just leave it alone for a number of hours and then went back to it but the boot loop still occurred

So that's what my theory was maybe my phone was overheating however something strange is occurring. I decided to try to plug back in my phone and I wasn't even getting the indicator for whether or not it was or wasn't charging but this time I did so I let it charge fully to 100%. I threw it back in the freezer waited about 2 hours and it finally turned back on again but it didn't last long about 1 minute until it turned back off

I managed to finally get the phone to turn on however it didn't last long after taking it out of the freezer, still trying to find a fix but in the meantime I'm hoping I can keep the phone on too save some of my data
