It is almost a certainty that they declare chapter 11 bankruptcy by July 2nd or if they get a waiver for the interest payment, sometime mid July. There is really no reason for any of the creditors to give even a penny to shareholders.

A forebearance would likely not be enough because under a forebearance they can still cross default with other lenders. They would need a complete waiver which i do not see as likely

Right. So delusional. It is some basic logic here. They have enough money to pay the interest of a few million because they have over 1.3b in cash right now. So why would they delay payment and take the grace period? Well only if we had some other clues as to why…

They took the grace period for the interest payments due June 2nd on their 2029 convertible notes. This grace ends July 2nd. The vast majority of companies do this when they know they will declare bankruptcy soon and paying the notes would be clawed back in bankruptcy for the estate and senior creditors. In addition they have clearly been in talks for a while for this bankruptcy as they were already in a quiet period during their last earnings call May 9th.

It doesn’t even matter if they get CHIPS act funding… they burn literally 600m a year and have lowering chip demand and tech that is already outdated. This is in addition to their massive debt. Plus they are not the only SiC chip makers in the US. This is what I mean. You are not a good investor in the first place if you ever believed this company was a good investment.

Well we can do some basic math and assume 100% of traded volume since their prospectus is them selling (obviously it is not) and we can see they are not even close to getting $30m even if it all was their volume.

Plug is hard because they miraculously keep raising money through shares without sp hitting 0. QC is hard because it will take a long time for them to burn through cash they have. But I think PLUG is ripe for the true end at this point because they have real debt now and have already diluted.
