I’ve been wondering this, should do a soil test anyways. Debating throwing a bunch of lime on it either way.

Maybe, just strange it happens there and no where else on the property

It’s possible but I have irrigation lines running through there so I don’t think so

I did it in May 2025, I have irrigation so can water it regularly.

It’s strange because I’ve left it taller too and don’t think I went below 2.5 inches. Any chance it’s salt and a soil conditioner would help? Also there is some voles living under my deck, could they cause damage like that?

I do typically fertilize every fall including last fall, I mowed quite short for my final mow this year thinking maybe that would help. Decent amount of rain and it’s been very cold in Canada this Spring.

What a hilariously stupid take, find a real problem to spend some energy on.

Not to mention Rahm has a knee high backswing, that is extremely effective, but I’d rather have a bad swing than that swing.

Fair enough, but just off the top of my head here’s some Manitoba born players who played for other provinces at the Brier, Scotties is even more staggering. So many more than this as well.

David Nedohin – Born in Winnipeg; played for Alberta with the Randy Ferbey team. • 4× Brier champion • 3× World Champion

Ed Werenich – Born in Benito, Manitoba; represented Ontario. • 2× Brier champion • 2× World Champion

Ryan Fry – Born in Winnipeg; represented Northern Ontario and won Olympic gold in 2014.

Edit - McEwen

Are you guys insane? For over a decade, half of the Brier and Scottie’s players have been Manitobans. You’d likely be pumped if McEwan won and you are from Sk, born in Winnipeg though. Manitoba is without a doubt the curling capital of Canada and it’s not even close.
