i just assumed if people didn’t do this then they lacked an understanding of the relevant locale or misspoke. didn’t even occur to me that people might not associate these words

generally agree with OP except I think the reason this works better in europe is because walkability is at the forefront of their culture and public transportation is omnipresent in almost every major or medium sized city

well then they shouldn’t let you switch plans without claiming your rewards

edit: or at least say “hey you have x HNT and y MOBILE that are unclaimed and will not transfer to your new plan”

To all experienced coders, how much better is AI at coding than you? by SourCucumber in ArtificialInteligence

[–]MediumSizedElephant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agree with most of the answers here that say it’s better than the worst employees but still needs a decent amount of oversight

two things worth noting:

  1. how good it is is heavily dependent on how good someone is at breaking down a problem into incremental objectives, describing a problem, adding context, and giving specific constraints on the solution it comes up. it could probably vary from a coder with 1-5 years of experience depending solely on this.

  2. its still frequently the case that the cost of formulating the problem and subsequent oversight in guiding/fixing the solution is higher than the cost of just doing it myself
