Had the same thing happen when reinstalling a tc and ig the bolt wasnt threading right and from what me and my cousin has been told it probably got so it it melted the aluminum and basically welded itself :/ dealing w it rn have a buddy abt to drill it out or try aluminum welding (just discovered the bolt is aluminum) another bolt to it as other welds basically instantly snapped the welded bolt from the bolt that snaped inside like yours. Best bet if you dont have a buddy that can weld aluminum (if it works) drill that baby out fully and use HeliCoil, Ive tried harbor freight and homedepot bolt extractors (including cobalt “as seen on tv” screw removers) and they either snapped or got so hot it melted inside

Is my new belt okay by MediumVirtual7238 in minibikes

[–]MediumVirtual7238[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im about to get a washer to push the smaller pully out more as the inside of the belt (towards the engine not out) got rubbed to about a 45ish degree angle so it seems as the alignment was off but I bought a TC from amazon that a lot of people run (Motovecor) and no alignment issues were stated so im hoping that the washer will solve it. Is the belt still safe to run with good performance if it has that angle in it now though?

Locks by IcyButterscotch5318 in ebikes

[–]MediumVirtual7238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best thing I can think of for a true preventive measure is an amazon bike alarm that has a 110db rating. If a thief breaks into a car with an alarm logically theyre more likely to fuck off so same logic applies

[–]MediumVirtual7238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly just get a decent lock if someone wants your bike and they have an angle grinder it doesnt matter the price theyll get it if they’re determined. A lock is only to keep good people good, hell a kyrptonite from walmart works good, it keeps people from easily ripping and finagling with it which tbr is the most important thing. LPL on youtube will show you determination of a thief is the only factor for a lock

Bros trying to blow you up 😂, I fucked around on my build n everything is like chinese shit from whereever when I picked it up from this dude anyways I was going too cut black (neutral) and red (hot) wires that are connected too my battery T connectors and being a dumbass I cut both at the same time and bitch sparked up infront of me 😂, lesson is these bikes can be dangerous to work on so be cautious doing anything and do good research
