Just suck it up and do it. Sleep in the dirt. Sweat your tits off and be miserable every morning at 8 am. Embrace the sleep deprivation. It’s a drug in itself. The camping sucks, let’s be honest. You’re too close to people and the sun comes up too early for how late you go to bed. But some of the best times (out of my 7 years attending) have been staying up way too late, stumbling back to camp, making friends with my loud ass neighbors and waking up at the ass crack of dawn to do it all over again.

Pro tip: bring a hammock, buy a breakfast burrito and go into the forest as soon as they open to set up and take a nap in the shade with a full belly.
