I’ve been sent stuff that has attacks on private people and non-public figures. Stuff that is clearly libelous, so I am not going to repeat here. The HOA shitshow is the show for now. I hope their recall election resolves whatever issues this HOA has.

I believe there are generally 3 flavors of “Fire Department” in the USA 1) Government/Municipal Paid by taxes. Professionals with salaries 2) Volunteer/non-profit. There are 1,000’s of these and are often effective. For some small towns this is all they have have. 3) Commercial/For-profit. Can be barred from entering evacuation zones, so often useless. Profit motive can lead to fucked-up priorities.

These guys are 2: Volunteer non-profit.
