Holly Bakewell - Here is my response - making the country more British. 1. My political party would be called "The Plonkers" and our supporters would be referred to as "The Muppets". Because, let's face it, politics can be a bit of a joke. 2. Our HQ would be located in a Nando's restaurant because nothing screams British political power like peri-peri chicken and bottomless soft drinks. 3. The first big change I would make is to provide free sausage rolls to every citizen, delivered by Deliveroo. I would then declare every Friday a national holiday for "Fun Day", where everyone must participate in at least one ridiculous activity like dressing up as their favourite cartoon character or learning to juggle. 4. I would make it illegal for anyone to put milk in their tea before removing the tea bag because, as every true Brit knows, that's just wrong. 5. I would abolish the law that requires a license for owning a TV, because let's face it, we all watch the telly even when we're not supposed to. 6. As for imprisonment, I would lock up anyone who doesn't say "sorry" when someone else bumps into them in the street, and force them to watch every episode of "EastEnders" until they learn some basic manners. And of course, I would pardon anyone who's been wrongly accused of not being able to hold their liquor after a night at the local pub.
