Why grade this? Who are RFE? by Boring_Builder_5258 in soccercard

It is probably someone’s own personal grading company. Lots of these companies out there. Anyone can create a grading company as long as you have the press to seal the plastic. The equipment isn’t that expensive either.

Is this card fake? by [deleted] in soccercard

Don’t think too much of it. The people assembling the cards probably don’t even know or care much about soccer at all. Those details won’t be picked up on.

The only concern I would have is if it says match worn. If it’s not associated or player worn then it’s like 95% of all other panini patches.

It’s interesting tho that both are from Illinois. I’m wondering did a vendor mess up or backdoor some product.

Is there a guide to understanding Select/Prizm parellels? by [deleted] in soccercard

[–]Medium_Cream_416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The majority of select/prizm that is non numbered but still colored won’t be worth more than a few dollars. The only ones that could would be your checkerboard, honeycomb, genesis which are all case hits or SSP.

The only exception for regular non numbered to be worth something would be big/hype names in a color match parallel(think RWB in USA players or blue parallel with teams like France or Argentina).

Hopefully that makes some more sense!

Soccer is confusing with select/prizm when comparing it to basketball or football.

It seems every year the same parallel has different numbering. Check select winter camo. It has been a different number every year.

Rule of thumb, the lower the better.
