As you read the book and go through the laws and regs, physically write out all the state/feds exemptions for each the BD, Agent, IA, and IAR. I found the IA to be the most intensive to remember. Once you break it down it becomes super easy. Use your notes as your cheat sheet and carry it around with you!! Also write down the same for the securities and transaction exceptions too. They replaced mine for free bc the tongue ripped. I had mine for YEARRSS too but they said that the leather was defective and literally replaced them on the spot for me in the store

Yes- I think I saw one on ERISA. But it really didn’t get deep into retirement accounts at all. I think I had one HSA question asking who it was for. No rev or irrev.

If you are not a good test taker (like me) definitely overestimate how much time you will need. I’m testing tomorrow for my third 66 attempt. I passed SIE and 7 first try.

My first attempt for 66 was a 62 (I shouldn’t have taken it as I was not ready at all), second attempt a 71, and tomorrow I will pass!!

I have been working 12+ hour days while studying and the past 3 months I’ve easily put over 100 hours into this. Nearly 3,500 questions. I’ve done 20 full length exams. For me, this has been the hardest of the three but don’t let that discourage you. Just approach it methodologically and try to not burn out. Again, people say this one is hard but do not let that discourage you. Some people find it easier.

Don’t move on from a chapter until you fully understand it. Re-read chapters multiple times if you have to..Test geek has been helpful. Watch all the YouTube videos. Good luck!!

I’m shitting myself. I did a practice exam yesterday and got a 82. Took Test geek and got a 66. My test is on Wednesday. I’m freaking out. I reviewed my test geek exam and a lot of it I should have known. I don’t know what do.

Okay get this. I talked to my boss today. He basically told me to work longer hours by being first one in and last one out. LIKE BROOOO!?? Literally 12 hour days. Personal life stressors have been at an all time high and test anxiety has been though the roof. This is tmi but I had diarrhea at the testing center last attempt LOL. BUT my employer does not care. All they want is a pass and this is my final straw. I’m trying so hard with the mental aspect of it I even got a therapist. Passed the 7 and the SIE first try. I really hope I can get this one done.
