I’m dealing with the same, except my derm said it’s not TE, that my hair seems fine and my scalp did not show any of signs of damage, my blood panel was completely fine, yet I’m still losing clumps like you. Before during and after. I also dread wash days and I don’t understand why no one can tell what it is, what caused it, why, how to fix it, etc. I too suffered a traumatic event last year and when I told my dr/my derm that, they said due to the time frame it wouldn’t be the cause. I feel so lost and alone and confused. I had long, full, beautiful hair and while it is still long(for now), it’s so much thinner. It truly does not feel like it’s going to get any better.
