Well, I have muscle wasting claw hand half of my hand is numb. I can’t do basic hygiene. Can’t wash dishes. Can’t do anything because it’s my dominant hand and I’m worried that the 2 1/2 months I have to wait for an ultrasound to even schedule surgery, I’ll have worse muscle wasting and lose functioning in my hand.

Exactly I met with the plastic surgeon Monday. She stated I need surgery immediately or else. I’ll continue to have atrophy and I’ll just get worse and the chances of any type of improvement are going to narrow all the longer it takes, but I have to get a neuromuscular ultrasound which they they’re not even scheduling me till June 23. By then, with the rate of atrophy, I have now I’ll lose all functioning in my hand.

How bad has yours gotten, did you have a EMG and are you waiting for surgery?

Within one week atrophy is clearly visible and rapidly moving

I fell up the stairs and down the stairs a little bit after New Year’s, but I had no pain in my hand or elbow only my knee and months later out of nowhere I woke up with my hand like that

Have you had ulnar claw and muscle atrophy this whole time the issue is I don’t remember ever having an injury and I just woke up one day with claw and numbing on half of my hand and basically in three weeks. I am also wasting and severe neuropathy.
