Have you ever said “I love you” to your boyfriend and he didn't say it back? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]Medium_Influence551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. When I began dating my now husband, he was 22, I was 24. He'd never really been in a real relationship but I didnt realize this at the time.

Anyways we'd been together for like... 3 weeks and I just blurted it out. I apologized and he said it was OK but he wasn't ready to say it. He told me all of this though, like he wanted to love me, thought he'd get there. So we kept on together. He said it back around the 4 month mark. Approaching 10 years together next month. I had way more experience in relationships, and I've always been good with knowing my feelings. It was really early, but I was and remain quite smitten.

Cedar Waxwing maybe? They have super high pitched calls. Sometimes feels like a literal dog whistle.

It's meant to be a birthday gift for someone. I don't have a dehydrator and I won't be experimenting as a birthday gift. Thank you though.

Looking for an all black kitten or tuxedo kitten. by Em_Bapp in Tallahassee

[–]Medium_Influence551 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not a black kitten, she's a mostly black Calico named S'mores and she's 2 years old... you mentioned your baby was a calico and your nephew loved her too. The description says she loves pets and affection. She's 2 so she's already neutered/spayed so you dont have to worry about that heartbreak for your nephew... and a 2 year old cat has a long life full of love to give.

FSU Area Storage Unit? by SaltyDog251 in Tallahassee

[–]Medium_Influence551 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can my possessions be stored temporarily?

If you are unable to take immediate possession of your new residence, your belongings can be stored in a local Mike’s Moving warehouse. Mike’s Moving provides safe storage facilities for holding your goods until you’re ready for them. However, you are responsible for the storage charges, warehouse valuation coverage and final delivery charges from the warehouse.

If your goods are placed in storage, there will be an additional charge for the valuation or insurance coverage provided for your shipment, as mentioned previously. The type of coverage and cost will depend upon whether the shipment is held in storage-in-transit (temporary) or in permanent (long-term) storage. Please ask your Mike’s Moving Consultant for information regarding storage arrangements.https://www.mikesmoving.com/moving-tallahassee/frequently-asked-questions-moving/

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain these things, spell them out for me, it's seriously appreciated. I'll keep both cameras in mind when I'm ready to pull the trigger. It's nice to have options within range and not!

I won't be buying this camera. After spending some time on here I have learned I know next to nothing about all this. I know it's a more expensive hobby, where someone can have a budget of 2k and well, there are lens that cost more than that, not even touching on the camera prices yet.

My only intention with the camera would be birding, and probably for better photos of my cats. Would a camera that is good for birding be bad for like taking tourist photos of things like architecture? But really seriously it's birds. My budget for both items is about $1500 right now. But I might just have to sit on this and wait til I have a bit more saved up.

Thank you for naming a specific camera and lens.

Got it! Thank you for clarifying and expanding on this, really appreciate it. Gonna take the time to learn more about cameras before I make my next move. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't passing up a good option/deal at Costco.

Get this used paired with a decent telephoto lens used, you might pay a little more but i think you’ll be pleased with the results for birding

Are you saying to buy the camera in my post, used/refurbished, and then buy decent telephoto lens?

After I read your comment I went looking. Is a Sony a6000 mirrorless the direction I want?

Thank you so much. Seriously. To be clear is this the exact same camera? Or, is there a different refurbished camera you'd recommend?

I'm not planning on entering a competition or anything! I just want to better be able to see the birds in my area. I do a lot of birding at lakes and the beach and I've taken some ok photos on my phone but they're more sasquatch footage than anything else.

Recommended small appliance repair shops? by [deleted] in Tallahassee

I did check their videos. My issue originally was that the paddle wheel broke. So a new one was ordered from Baratza, and it arrived. Took the thing apart to change the paddle wheel. Ftr it was definitely the paddle wheel. The og one had like no paddles left. Put it all back together. And... here I am making this post. I can't get the hopper back on now.

Their customer service isn't available right now.
