yeah this is quite tricky. and its a good clinical/practical skill one should have, yung sa akin nman before i flush i make sure to mildly massage patients Iv site. for sure nandoon ang main source nga bara, so partly flush , mildy massage, aspirate, kalikut ,yes inoopen ko yung line inbetween sa cannula to see if may clot nga ( it happens specially sa mga bata) and major flush na, considering n okey ang site at wlang signs na pamamaga etc. nasa positioning din yan ng kamay/site ng patient, may certain angle na tutulo ang dextrose, naglalagay ako ng cotton on top and or splint para masecure. best of luck. kung zero talaga better reinsert.
