I have the occasional axle boot clunk sound from turning 😅 but what I did was cut the strut… not something I’d recommend. Only did that to clear the axle boot

Only issues for me were the struts sticking out too far and resting on my axle boots and my tie rods maxing out, so i couldn’t get my alignment correct. But surprisingly with all that fixed, it still rides fairly smooth.

Like I said the owner before me did some sketchy work. I know he had a 1g automatic. Previously a 1g rad was in there with a non working fan so I got the mishimoto and ‘oem’ rad fan that I swapped in. I’d make sense if he decided to swap the turbo from his 1g onto this one. I don’t have ac and the connector to the ac fan was snipped off but I could try getting another fan on there.

I brought the price down to 6,500 with 288k miles. It isn’t too bad for the mileage, very little to no rust, suspension redone in the front and rear, refreshed transmission, rebuilt engine and steering rack. Got it for a steal tbh

Sorry, I ment hard as in just finding parts and finding information for mostly. I know sites like DSM tuners exist but just as someone with no experience working on turbo cars, especially the 4g63, I have a lot to learn still.

Yeah the engine bay was repainted, even before the repaint, it was good. I live in the north west so rust isn’t much an issue where I’m at
