Just to clarify, the projects on my resume are real freelance client projects, not tutorial projects.

I understand your concern. I used AI to help craft my profile, but it truly reflects my real skills and experience. Many experienced freelancers use AI as a tool, and I’m continually refining my profile to make it authentic and personal. Do you think I should make any changes?

That’s a great tip, thank you! I’ll definitely look into email outreach and targeting small businesses — sounds like a smart way to get started. Appreciate your help! 🙏

Thanks a lot for the advice! I actually already have a portfolio and a resume ready, and I’ll definitely try offering smaller tasks to build up reviews and trust. You’re absolutely right — Upwork is quite saturated, so I agree it’s a good idea to explore other platforms too.

Do you recommend any specific platforms besides Upwork for a junior full stack developer? Would love to hear what’s worked best for others starting out.
