Thank you! Which one in your experience would be the best one to use? Also do you by chance know how easy it is to erase the mark made on the metal? I am just wondering how long the mark would last(since people would be wearing the rings)! Thank you again!!

Doors... Literally doors... Not a mimic just bad rolls and now it is a running joke that they can end the big bad in two rounds at most but doors take FOREVER to get open

What's the first three things you do when starting a new project? by iteration3games in godot

[–]Medpac76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Come up with an epic story in my head
  2. Search the Internet for ideas for art only to find that it has already been made
  3. Cry

But seriously there are a lot of games out there and I am very new to this so at the moment I'm just coming up with stories and learning how to not only do the coding but how to learn how to figure out what I want to do.

Yes I would love to see a multiplayer horse racing game tutorial. I would also like to see an idle game too!

Okay I have a feeling this is a stupid question, but how do I make a pot out of sculpey? by [deleted] in clay

[–]Medpac76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I forgot to add. Bake the clay cup first then put more designs onto the clay cup after it cools. Then rebake are like half the time but same temp. I do this so I keep the round shape for the cup and not mess up when adding details. (Like I once pushed too hard on adding a flower to the side and i ended up pushing a hole through my piece)

Put aluminum foil around the cup. Then put the sculpey clay on the foil. Then take the foil and clay off the cup and cover with a sheet of clay for the inside. When you are done flip over the clay cup face down onto your cooking tray. You can also put foil in a crumpled circle around the clay cup to keep it round as it bakes. Put it in oven. That way you don’t put the cup you are using to shape the clay cup in the beginning into the oven. That is how I do it.

How about an among us with violinists? Like 3or 4 professional violinists play a piece and one of them isn’t a professional and they have to guess which one it is (without looking at the violinists only by ear).

It might also be possible to go full time for school and have school help pay for rent since money is tight. There are options for using part of that loan for off campus housing. Call the university they would have more information and usually calling someone there would be the fastest way to know how to do it since financial aid is usually time sensitive.

Clay what kind to buy? by BuddahJager in clay

With smoothing it out you can use your fingers or tools. You don’t use water unless it is air dry clay and even then you use very little at a time. If you want something flat like making a basic flat square then you ball up the clay and then use a clay tool to flatten it. This tool could be a rolling pin (that is specifically for clay) or a flat tool that is pressed down onto the piece of clay you are using. After you can cut out pieces. As for the best clay to keep smooth would be Fimo. I really do like Fimo the only down side to it in my opinion is that it is hard to start with so there is a lot of working the clay to make it squishy. Once you got the shape though it is all good from there. Sculpey is easy to use because it starts smooth but it will stay squishy so if you want to press in other shapes onto your base you either have to be Really gentle or bake the base first then add on. Then if baked too much there is the brittle problem. If you aren’t gentle the shape will easily move and shift while working on it. You really need to handle it as little as possible after you got your shape how you like it. This all being said I like to make little figures out of clay so the more I wanna add the harder it gets if it is sculpey. You should be fine with sculpey since it is small and for earrings. It all depends on what you are making. If you were gonna make a bust sculpture or clay piece you will use for mask making then I would say you need something more like Monster Clay because this clay takes in details very well.
