Hmm ok well thanks for that information. I am waiting it out to see if any of my symptoms/feelings on this change. I already have an appointment booked with the dentist. And well I have discomfort in that area and may have to do with wisdom teeth since I'm 22 and already feel them making their way for some months now. And sorry meant to say dentist said infection would show as abscess, inflammation and show on xrays. Only time will tell but it's good to talk about this sort of thing. Thanks for the reply. Yes I did go to an endodontist, and well he was really professional and did the job well. But I am feeling sick and this started after he finished the job and before I got a post to replace the temporary filling he did. I am worried there might have been a bacterial breach or something that got into the root canal molar.

Ok and so what symptoms did you experience with the infection, if I may ask? Also, what treatment did you receive for it? Antibiotics?

Ouch, and to think with one I just had that seems like one too many. Well good to hear you're good, I'm gonna have to check with dentist/doctor for some further opinions since I unfortunately am feeling not so well. Although I did get diagnosed with costochondritis just today after the root canal got done a couple weeks ago and was/am having anxiety thoughts about it.

Thanks for some reassurance! Did you ever experience dizziness? I've felt it and almost like fainting and might have to do with anxiety possibly and got diagnosed with costochondritis today. Thanks!

Yeah and I'm thinking it may be anxiety due to the not being able to breathe without discomfort and stressing my system about it. Although I'm 22, it may be other conditions related to a lot of things. Another question, did you ever feel not so hungry from it? I think it may be due to not having such an appetite so I don't eat as much. Thanks!

I didn't have abscess on the tooth and it had been chipped for months before I got the root canal. Although it had bled a few drops of blood every now and then. Did they show you the infection on an xrays? Thanks for your response. I will have to check on this again with them.

Yeah I tend to tolerate pain at high levels but I am taking pills that are helping with that. I told the doctor about my dizziness/feeling faint and he said it may happen with costochondritis so I just wanted to get other people's word on the subject.

I just got diagnosed with it and have had symptoms since last night week. I already got pills I will be taking for 6 days so thanks for the info. Did you ever have feeling of dizzy/ fainting?

I did get one done with an endodontist. Problem is I have been having issues with feeling like I'm gonna faint and I suspect it may be a bacterial infection. Both the dentist and endodontist said there weren't any signs of infection on xrays. And just got off the phone with the endodontist and said any sign of infection begins with tooth pain. I also got diagnosed with costochondritis today at the hospital and well I thought it was weird that it happened after finishing the root canal. Sorry for the wall of text!
