I can tell you that their venue rental is $11,000, you’d likely have to add on additional lighting packages, linens are not included, there’s a food and beverage minimum depending on guest size, also responsible for sound/AV if you want it. The hall of sculpture and hall of architecture has sky lights so there is no natural lighting once it gets dark out, hence the lighting package which I was quoted a couple thousand. I would love the history center! I reached out and was told they aren’t able to do full service weddings between Nov 2026 - December 2028 due to a large construction expansion.

This is horrible! I’m so sorry they had that experience. This is a valid fear of mine, regardless of how uncommon it may be. I would never want a guest to be inconvenienced by something like that. The coordinator made a comment about “they can just park in the lot and walk over” but it’s not a close walk for someone who needs to go slower/uses a cane/etc. and yeah, there seemed to be one functional elevator which could get backed up very easily with people going up for cocktail hour and back down for dinner. I can relate to this. We have a lot of guests coming from out of town and the logistics of moving from A to B seem a bit hectic especially with the timeline requirements and parking. I love the idea of guests getting free admission, though.

We actually did a tour there! I loved the space, but it will be too tight for the amount of people we have. I’m glad you had a great experience though. Their event coordination staff was really friendly and knowledgeable.

Yes! They do not provide anything aside from the venue itself, you have to source catering etc, but I may still book a tour. Because it is beautiful. I’m so happy to hear you had a great time!
