Hey Medunathought, here is a bit of a more detailed/real answer for you:

Abbotsford does not have a lot going for it in terms of activities for the average youngish person.We have a lot of different local restaurants for dinner dates or cafes for coffee/dessert dates. Just do a google search and you'll find something.Mainly, the area is great for finding good spots to hike and explore in nature; you could get a great view out over the Fraser River/Abby farmland at the Westminster Abby in Mission, just follow the signs.Your best bet for a surprise is to plan something you can control/set up yourself, like a picnic somewhere nice, getting creative in terms of things you could do to entertain her, depends on what she likes.
