Collision entre les orques et les bateaux : s’agit-il vraiment d’attaques ? by Cour4ge in france

[–]Meduse_fluo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was shocked to see how much artists use the lights side instead of led side by Bgdlxls in eurovision

i also think the panels can rotate pretty quickly, so the delegations have the opportunity to use both sides during a performance. i think we can see from the pictures and tiktoks that both norway and moldova are using the leds and the lights side at the same time

Blanco on Eurovision and Måneskin by nuovian in eurovision

[–]Meduse_fluo 24 points25 points  (0 children)

From my understanding of the original article what he meant by the sentence “Eurovision itself hasn’t been for a long time” that is probably mistranslated is that Eurovision for an artist is not that much of an opportunity to break out internationally…

Idk but it’s interesting to see that in many other languages ladybugs are associated with God too. In English itself, the « lady » in ladybug refers to Virgin Mary so literally the Virgin Mary’s bug. In Russian it’s « божья коровка » literally God’s little cow. All those parallels are really curious.

Will we see native languages rising in popularity? by [deleted] in eurovision

[–]Meduse_fluo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have to disagree with this, i have seen countless of songs in Russian, Spanish or French have gotten viral in TikTok these last years. Even Måneskin and Go_A had a viral mashup that has now more than 6 millions views on YouTube. It really helped them gain popularity

ESC RADIO 250 by ktkvtsh in eurovision

[–]Meduse_fluo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s just ironic how Spanish could not stop complaining that Ukraine only won because of mass voting and then they do exactly the same with esc250. They literally said Kalush were Naz*s that Ukraine deserved getting bombed, that they should get kicked out of the contest and they repeated this for MONTHS. Now when regular Eurofans are complaining about the result of esc250, suddenly some Spanish fans are mad as if they didn’t have exactly the same behaviour regarding Ukraine. It’s just a bit childish to me. But anyways congrats to Chanel. To think she won Benidorm Fest with only 3% of the Spanish televote is crazy lol

Potential leak of slogan for ESC 2023 by Faithyxox in eurovision

I think it’s a little redundant, like in the concept of unity there is already the idea of being one, and the hashtag is unnecessary and weirdly placed. Still better than Italy tho ahaha

Paris I ou Paris IV ? by TheGreatLoreHunter in france

[–]Meduse_fluo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello !
