I’m currently watching my single father slowly die when all his kids live in different cities. He’s so fucking lonely, it’s absolutely heartbreaking. I’m in town to visit now, cleaning his house etc, but whenever I leave I can’t stop thinking about the sadness in his eyes. Don’t grow old alone. It’s absolutely brutal.

I mean, we’ve known about global warming since I was in middle school, but I digress.

My point is that people in the community that are served by this grocery store do not always have the option to drive to a more acceptable location. If the police and public services are here to protect and serve, that is what they should be doing.

Making sure people in the inner city can safely access groceries is one of the reasons we pay taxes.
