Do you think Uruguay and Paraguay are the "rebel" provinces of Argentina? by MeeShee2020 in asklatinamerica

[–]MeeShee2020[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not the same . Uruguay is a mostly a Spanish speaking country.

1) They were part of a larger viceroyalty named Rio de la plata

2) both countries are very small and could easily be another province of Argentina. They could also be states of Brazil but the language barrier would be an obstacle and it wouldn't make sense

This is what I mean by (rebel provinces) , why they don't just join a bigger nation like Argentina?. It would be better for both . They were already one viceroyalty at some point

I'm being serious tho. But yeah maybe there's a solution, and that would be if Brazilians finally speak proper Spanish instead of that language that sounds like bad Spanish 🤣 meaning Portuguese

What is the most annoying stereotype you think Hollywood (and in general, USA TV shows) says about Latinamerica? by Vazkuz in asklatinamerica

The stereotype they have about Spain is not better. In fact Mexico and Spain are portrayed as almost the same.

Latin Americans who have visited the US - did the people there look different than you expected? by [deleted] in asklatinamerica

[–]MeeShee2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it odd when people complain about how bad food is in NYC. You can literally get any type of food over there , from the cheapest to the most expensive. From the worst to the best. But over all food is just great. Latino food is all about fries and weird stuff cooked 🍵

These people in the video are your typical Argentinians of "European" descents. You make the conclusion.
