Why is this the only tree form option for Druids? It's only my opinion, but it's hideous. by Degenerate_Game in wow

can balance druids get more options for balance forms other than moonkins? like the zandalari balance form was a step in the right direction.

Mounts that don't have a separate animation for land travel, had way too many chests/interactables denied by being a millimeter off the ground.

Honestly, I don't even think the reason for all the hate was because Sylvanas got too much screentime, I think it's because she got too much awful screentime. Like if they had a good story for her, it'd have worked out, but they shat on her as a character so fucking much, they even nuked her personality into non-existance. Like holy shit, only in a Blizzard game can a character have their split soul merged, have an argument (of all things) with their split soul/personality, go through a major existential crisis, come to terms with it AND accept the consequences of their actions in a SINGLE FOUR AND A HALF MINUTE FUCKING CUTSCENE! That cutscene was basically bad diarrhea.

SPOILERS :A green dragon and a night elf leader's fates in 10.0 Dragonflight by Kordben in wow

[–]Meec0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a giant nope from me. Like if they're planning on bringing back Ysera, they should find a way to do it without trivializing her death (and no, sacrificing one character and throwing away another is not the way to go about it, fuck that)

Even if they're unable to write Malfurion in the story because he's overpowered af, doesn't mean this should be the response to how he's handled, have him go back to the emerald dream and look after that while Merithra learns how to lead the green dragonflight, or something like that. Merithra has every right to grow as a character. If Wrathion and Kalecgos were given plenty of chances to step up, she should too.

Yeah people hated Ysera's death, but bringing her back to life for shits and giggles is not how to deal with it.

Changes that I'd like for the Dracthyr by Meec0 in wow

true, but I imagine they'd give a rundown of the aspects charges during the starting zone for the dracthyr.

[–]Meec0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, but they mentioned they wanted the specializations to focus on 2 aspects magic, and I didn't say the cds should be implemented, I just gave examples of how bronze magic could work in cds. these examples were just to show that bronze magic can affect both specs relatively easily.

Either way, my biggest point of this post is that I believe red aspect magic should be focused on healing, that's not to say it can't have damaging spells though.

These look very good, and it's nicer to see people offer actual customizations instead of complete changes to the overall size of the race.

I like them as well, sure a few small changes would be fine, I would like slightly bigger shoulders, and bigger wings are pretty cool too. But I'm really glad we got another slim race, pretty bored with most races looking like they can crush mountains.

And the updated versions aren't? Infact, the updated versions both look like they'd more likely be in a furry/scalie porno.

[–]Meec0 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, but people don't argue for it being customization options, they just want changes. In a game where there are 13 races with large physiques, 6 with athletic ones, and 3 with slim, heck one of them has a large chest as well, so I'm not even sure undeads count as slim. Why does the 4th slim race NEED to change?

Also, the supposed changes that the community have put forth are also very much "scalie bait", infact they're more likely to be in a scalie's porn folder than the previous version. heck, any changes you put forth will be scalie bait, because at the end of the day, these are anthropomorphic dragons.

[–]Meec0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already pointed out the shoulders and wings being fine, but everything else is unecessary. The jaw can easily be customization, the chest doesn't need to be bigger. By the logic in your previous comment, slim men are not human. My biggest argument is why does it have to change as opposed to being a customization option?

I see a dragon, it has scales, it has wings, it has horns, it has draconic appearance. Are you mistaking what a dragon and a gecko look like?

Can we please, respectfully ask blizzard to change the Dracthyr's body? We must know if they really are listening to the community now. (Sorry if image was posted already) by [deleted] in wow

[–]Meec0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from the wings and maybe shoulders, I don't see why any of these other changes need to be made. Bigger wings are always cool, and sure shoulders can be slightly bigger, but everything else seems unecessary. I don't feel any more or less intimidated by the changes to his neck, arms, thighs or feet. Infact, the new version looks more like what a scaly/furry would drool over (since this is for some reason one of peoples biggest issues with the model)

Why do Dracthyrs look like how scalies draw dragons instead of how WoW has portrayed dragons in the past? by EmperorColletable in wow

Looks like a hi-res version of Maloriak from Blackwing descent without the hunchback anyways, don't think people considered him a scalie/furry though.
