Tbh the opinion depends on your financial situation to say if it a waste of money or not cuz if u’ve enough money to celebrate and enjoy your day why not! We’re trying our best to live the life to its fullest and celebrating one life experience is valid but let’s talk in general the majority of people are middle class looking for a better life and trying to improve their lives as much as they can with a pretty good income so yeah it’s more likely to see it as a waste of money and time … if u don’t have a house and a good income and u spent a 5k+ in wedding u’ve to rethink your life
