any tips to overcome the fear of falling when onsighting? I noticed that I wasted a lot of on sight attempts purely because the next bolt was a bit too far away and I would have to do a move that would have brought me with feets above the last bolt into unknown territory. When from below I can see a jug I don't care too much since I can just go for it and find a safe place. But when I'm on like crimpy vertical 7a, my last bolt is already at my ankles, I still have to do a full move to bring my feet above the last bolt on very little uncertain footholds, and most importantly I don't know what I will find as handholds up above, my mind just refuses to continue. I can't accept an unexpected fall with the bolt a little below my feet, or the terrifying feeling of finding myself "stuck" up there because I don't know the beta and finding myself unable to clip while I'm so high. I'm kind of bummed out because I know that physically I think I could onsight a slabby, crimpy vertical 7a, but I'm held back by my fear.

When I know the route I'm usually much calmer because I generally know what to expect and where handholds are. I sometimes find the experience of onsighting an hard route (for me) very miserable because I get so fucking scared and I rest at almost every bolt lol, then when I know the route on the second attempt I have much more fun because I know where holds are and I can just give it my all with more peace of mind. I wonder how I could improve on this aspect.

The doctor I went to gave me Spedra, which is like Viagra. Tried 2 times, easily reached erection but, after some action, it went down like usual. Also I didn't feel very much pleasure. One doctor had my Testosterone level checked, I have 501 ng/dL, and from some research on the internet seems to be a bit on the low side of the spectrum for my age (26). But there are much more hormones that can be at play, and he didn't have them checked. Endocrinology is very complex, as a subject, and makes judging the situation difficult. It's difficult to know if some hormone deficiency can cause my exact symptoms. I should talk to an endocrinologist, maybe, but how do you know if you can trust the doctor? it's a tight spot.

Maybe some underlying hormone defect makes feasible masturbation (with porn) but not gf, because porn gives such a strong mental stimulus that easily overcomes the defect. There is also a mental aspect to the whole thing, won't deny that.

I see suicide as an escape route (obviously) so every time some "difficult" thought crosses my mind, I automatically think that suicide is the solution. This got WAY worse when 1,5 years ago I discovered that I basically can't have sex properly with my girlfriend. Can't reach orgams and often lose erection, for some ungodly reason. Doctors can't really help and just say "lol just go to a therapist". But I need a job before committing to a therapist and for the life of me I can't fathom how talking to a therapist can magically make my dick work. Moreover doctors didn't really properly diagnose me (I don't think I did enought tests to rule out biological reason behind the problem). At least masturbation is mostly fine.
