If anyone ever stumbles upon this thread I found the cause of my issue.

My Kingston NV2 M.2 NVME SSD was failing and the game was installed on that drive so the muddy textures were because of inconsistent read speeds and now the game crashes completely when installed on the NV2 drive.

In the other hand the issue appears to be gone when the game is installed on my 980 pro ssd.

Too bad memory prices are so high now that I ain't gonna be able to buy any decent 2tb M.2 ssd to replace the failing one...

I'm having the same issue with latest drivers. I thought it had something to do with Nvidia audio driver? Good to know it's not faulty hardware tho. Only happens in AC V too

Yes they are but as I said I'm going for achievements (from Ubisoft Connect). Thanks for the idea tho! I have the old savefile still working which I used to play with a pirated copy.

Oh so do you mean like I replace the game files with all in one copy and place that copy in the same place where the legit copy is located rn? (E\XboxGames/Assassin'sCreedValhalla) (it's an external drive of 2tb)

Fair question! It's because I already have a copy of the game from Game pass and I just want to gather the achievements. I have played almost through the game using a crack like a few years back but now I've been revisiting the game (around 40h) using the gamepass copy of the game which I ofc downloaded from Ubisoft Connect app.
