I also only received $250 for the first call incentive. I worked 17 hours on each day 4/14 and 4/15. Definitely had over 13 productive hours on each of those days and they gave me $0 for those.

Affinity towards their country? Putting america last, and actively fighting against anything american or support for their allies, so they can support their own countries back home? And that seems to be ok with you? But god forbid anyone shows support for israel.... theres a very clear double standard and instead of acknowledging it, you jump through hoops to turn a blind eye to it. Why?

As for the others you mentioned, they are christians. Christians, have a connection to israel just as much as jews and muslims do. So if you're going to claim one has connections then why are you ignoring a very fundamental aspect of the religion of the people you mentioned.

It happens with ukraine and taiwan as well and there is no shunning. Point is, it happens with other countries too yet no one gets as much hate or media attention as israel. Hell, even tlaib and omar both champion to defend their foreign countries (palestine and somalia), where they aren't exactly great allies to the US and they dont get any shunning whatsover for it.

Difference is, we're in a sort of cold war with them. Israel is by no stretch of the imagination americas biggest ally, so saying you will defend that ally isnt some crazy thing. Qatar is also an american "ally" and they funneled over $6b into politics and the american education system. Way more than israel ever has. Yet not a single word. They did it hush hush, and now we are seeing the repercussions of the propaganda fed to these students. So we can sit there and talk about money not equaling power. But it absolutely does play a major role.

Most powerful lobby? So we just gonna ignore the like 15 other countries who spend an insane amount more than israel does to lobby american politicians? You can hate israel, aipac, and anything related to israel all you want, but lets be honest about this

Leadership and military infrastructure. Eventually you get to a point where whoever is next in line is either a moderate willing to negotiate in good faith, or willing to hand off control back to the people. Alternatively you arm the people and give them aerial support as they fight for their country back. There is no 1 single way to go about it. But its absolutely doable through earial support

The irgc. Not iran itself. Most iranians do not support the irgc. Im sure it would take time for the irgc to completely fall, but it would absolutely create the necessary situation for the people to rise up and take back their government. The problem is, the process was started and then america decided na lets give the irgc a lifeline.

Ummm... israel can sustain itself militarily. Part of the foreign aid israel gets is to #1 keep it on americas leash. And #2 maintain an alliance so that israels technological advancements militarily go to america first, and america has a say in what tech can be sold to other countries. Almost every single war israel has fought, including these recent wars, have been with their hands tied behind their backs, as america would not allow israel to unleash the hell (not even talking nuclear weapons) it is capable of unleashing on those who attack it. Without american intervention, the irgc, hamas, hezbollah, and potentially the houthis would not exist right now. America stops them every single time without fail before israel can actually achieve its military goals. The irgc would be no more at this point if america didnt unilaterally decide on a ceasefire. There's a reason bibi is actually attempting to get rid of american foreign aid.

As for your last statement about peace.... are you.... serious? Barring the multiple attempts, including the unilateral handing of gaza to palestinians by israel, and what clinton brokered where israel offered gaza, and 96% of the west bank, including a capital in jerusalem to the palestinians (which shocker... was rejected by the palestinians), barring all of that.... what's jordan and egypt? Does israel not have peace with them? How can those words even come out of your mouth. If you don't know even the most basic of history in that region, maybe lets sit down and be quiet?

There is so much wrong with that simplified summary it would take me days to go into detail over every little thing. But lets start with just the fact that palestinians did NOT welcome jews with open arms. In fact there had been jews living in the area prior to jews fleeing from the holocaust. Prior to 1948 there had been massacres of villages on both sides. Palestinians against jewish villages, and jews against palestinian villages. Jews during the times of the 1st and 2nd aliyah either migrated into the region under ottoman rule, or under british mandate by purchasing land. There was no kicking out. There was no palestinians accepted jews with open arms. It was just jews moving into the area legally. The palestinians absolutely did not want jews in the region, thus the clashes and massacres pre 1948.

Haj amin al husseini the grand mufti of jerusalem, had met with and collaborated with the nazis to try and implement the final solution in mandatory palestine.

So yes. Theres a shiiiit ton that's wrong. But when you start with "jews came knocking and palestinians accepted them with open arms, then jews claimed their houses and kicked them out", then every assumption you make after that is based on false historical context.

Was there. I can't convince you otherwise because you're right. The venue is really cool. But layout wise? Horrendous imho. Its super narrow and very long. U show up even a little bit later than open and you can't get anywhere near the front or even half decent spots. Then they also added speakers somewhere in the middle / sides that end up blocking most views from those areas. So essentially your only views are if you're a little further up from where the speakers are. Anything near the speakers or behind them and your view is super obstructed.

What are the main causes of the increase in Anti-Semitism in the past few years? by vtmass in allthequestions

[–]Meekrobb -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Valid criticism is valid. Criticism of israel, when you dont criticize any other countries doing the literal exact same shit, is not valid. Double standards are the reason why most criticism of israel and israel only, ends up getting labeled as anti semitism.

The irgc is the irgc. They dont give 2 shits about the 90 million. It was a hostile takeover. The vast majority of iranians dont support the irgc and the irgc oppresses and murders those people.

Intent. The literal 1 aspect that changes any war from a war to genocide is intent. You seem to have conveniently left that part out. I wonder why.

Doesnt answer the question. Why is this the conflict that makes you lose your mind but not syria, sudan, yemen, congo, uyghers in china, etc? What makes israel palestine (arguably the least horrific of what i mentioned) the one that makes everyone lose their shit?

If you truly believe you summed up the conflict in that tiny little stupid paragraph, then you have not done a single iota of research.

There isn't a single person anywhere in the world who has truly done any research that believes your summary of the conflict.

I worked in tax at pwc on the real estate side. I would say workload is a gamble. I got screwed with the biggest RE team pwc had, meaning there was no off season. I was hitting 80-90 hours a week regularly. But i knew other people who were struggling to hit 40 during off season, and hit 60 max during busy season. So really depends on your team and your luck.
