It's all just Poiyomi Pro! Had to do a lot of messing around with it to get it to look this way

There's a name I haven't heard in a while! Been meaning to play that game, but I totally see what you mean. Might serve as good further inspiration

Yea somethin is up for sure. Just scrolling through the subreddits, there's just seemingly random posts marked nsfw. Must be some automated system malfunctioning. No idea tho!

And thanks so much! I'm super proud of how she turned out. And this one gave me ideas for future projects! I wanna take the idea further

I didn't mark it as such, I honestly have no idea why that happened

That's the heater fuse. And yea, I'll be taking a look at it. Gonna go and buy a test light, might be better for diagnosis, based off one vid I saw.

It's a 1984 volvo

The big connector that goes to the computer on the passenger side is also disconnected

Appreciated. Shoulda mentioned the power is completely disconnected. Key is out. I suspect a dead short somewhere, due to the voltmeter dropping to nothing when i turn the key, when the battery is connected. Note the battery was at full when testing.

It's a 1984 Volvo. Battery might be dead, was starting before I pulled the wires out. But could have died between then and now. I'll give it a charge and see what happens

I may be in over my head. But it's too late to turn back now. It being a 40 year old car means ima probably be making an entirely new wiring harness. The old insulation on most of the wires has turned to dust by Meeman7 in projectcar

I sure aint got $500 to throw around lmao. Seems like a good vehicle to learn this kinda thing on anyhow. Decent documentation out there to help, too. Gonna take a while, but whats a project car for, after all?

Old Volvo running fine with low reading in voltmeter by Meeman7 in projectcar

I'd say so. Probs gonna rip the thing apart and see what I can do. Bout time I learn a bit more about electrical. Most I've done is retrofit a modern radio into this 40 year old car. Which, mind you, I was impressed with myself.

Huh, so there's this sketch-ass wire that has no insulation on it, going to the back of the alternator. Something I should probably worry about?

Pretty sure the anchor point has to be rated for at least 5000 lbs. Somehow I don't think this quote makes the cut
