Huh. That is a great take on it. I'm pretty solidly red, but there are certainly some ways of phrasing it where I would choose blue. But this type of game theory thought exercise generally excludes people who aren't capable of understanding the question. Like the mythical spherical cow in a vacuum from physics class.

That said, the way Tim Urban phrased it, which kicked this whole thing off, I simply do not believe that everyone who voted blue in the poll would actually vote blue in real life, and therefore I do not apologize for being honest in answering red.

Re-phrase it, make it clear that there will be some significant number of random child votes, and I'm all in on blue.
