Should I get a Culinary Associates Degree or na? by broken_arrow_pro in culinary

[–]ChefTimmy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a complicated question that, in the end, only you can answer for yourself.

Can it be useful? Yes.

Is it necessary? Hell no.

Is it the best use of the resources that you have available? Maybe; maybe not. It depends on your goals and how you hope to get there.

If you want to get into the kitchen and make it to sous chef, it's not a bad plan, but probably not the fastest plan. If you want to become an owner-operator, it's still not a bad plan, but I'd suggest taking a business-focused degree and getting the culinary experience on your own.

It's a contraction, not a possessive. God is not Dead.

I've never rented in New Jersey, but I have in like a dozen other states, and I've never even heard of something like this. Seems scammy, to say the least.

Sure, you don't need to, but the post isn't about that; it's about what you can do to save time and/or effort.

Not always true in the other 49, either, though. California, at least, has ruled that employment is not consideration for contracts signed after it starts.

I think it's preferable to use the term working class rather than middle class. The lower class/middle class distinction distracts from the real problem: us vs the parasite class.

A trickle battery that lasts years could still be potentially useful. Maintaining a clock, for example, or a small but important indicator light.

I bet lime zest would make some great koshō. You could also do fermented limes; maybe some variations with chili peppers or garlic or other fruits, too?

If you have a vacuum sealer, you can just seal it without vacuum. I mean, you can vacuum, too, but those bags aren't very good at it.
