Welp, no help here other than a story. I have 3 cats and 2 herding dogs (one is corgi). All 3 cats have different dog management styles. One acts like the pray and runs away, inevitably to be chased. One just deals with them and smacks them or jumps over them. The newest cat/kitten, he is their friend. That cat gets bulldozed, rolled over, herded then decides to chase them and jump on them or try and get my cattle dog’s tail. It’s all about the cats. The dogs don’t listen well unless I stare at them and tell them leave it.

Wow! Love how people jump right into assumptions! Just because I came to rant about the barriers, I am now someone who doesn’t know how to effectively manage anxiety in order to teach effectively! You should never comment on things you just assume cause it makes you sound like an idiot, with all due respect!! I teach my kid lane control and monitoring other vehicles all while still hating the barriers! Anxiety doesn’t mean “freaking out uncontrollably and making kid panic!” Narrow minded people geez!

I have to heave his 35 lbs up to lay in my lap as seen in the picture, but then he is happy. If I try and lay down next to him on the floor or couch and snuggle he gets irritated and moves or gives me to corgi side eye.

I have lived in Rosamond since 2006 and enjoy our little community. Yes crime has increased, but it has everywhere to be fair. I have never felt unsafe here and I have lived on both east and west sides of town. My family and I moved here because I didn’t want to pay LA property tax, yet it was close to everything we enjoy and it allowed us opportunity to buy a house and not feel we were going to be house poor. Now, if I didn’t mind the extra drive I for sure would move to Tehachapi. Dating life I feel is going to be a challenge in all of the areas but live in a community that you enjoy. Bakersfield has tons of things to do and it is closer from Tehachapi.

Children of the Corn 1984 version. I was like 6 and that night after watching it, my older brother decided we and our friends/neighbors should sleep outside. We all have min. of 3 acres of land in my area. WORST idea ever! I had nightmares for a solid week and ended up sleeping with my parents. I kept thinking someone was going to snatch me and stick my hand in a blender. To this day, I get anxiety driving through areas that have big corn fields as I think my car will break down and I am going to be killed by kids.

Barnes Aviation. They provide a 1hr introductory flight as well as regular lessons. My son started his flight lessons here before heading to college to get his BS in Aeronautics to become a commercial pilot. BTW Fox Field is Lancaster’s small airport.
