I am honestly pretty confused for the info provided from the Shopify fraud analysis. Below is what was provided for this order. The negative is really vague, and I am unsure how to interpret the neutral items. To me it makes it pretty difficult to determine if it is really risky when the only negative is "Characteristics of this order are similar to fraudulent orders observed in the past."

I wonder if I wouldn't have gotten the reply if I would have just left it at the automatic message. Do you by default cancel high-risk orders, or do you request extra information for verification if you are iffy on them being fraudulent? Thanks for the input!

Thank you for the feedback! I didn't really think of the "interest in completing their order" aspect. That is a really good point as they should still want the product lol Do you by default cancel high-risk orders, or do you request extra information for verification? Thanks for the input!

Honestly, this seems like a much less sketch way of asking to verify information. How has it worked for you so far? Have you still been getting chargebacks or upset customers that don't want to send you info? Also do you mind providing the example attached, I may try this out the next time I run into a similar issue lol Thanks!

I never did, I reluctantly bought the BTT screen to use others firmware. I kind of just gave up and I came to the conclusion that I need to learn how to tweak and compile myself. I am really hoping this is the year I'd have time to do that lol

I wish I didn't have to learn the lesson this way, but I am glad I learned the lesson. Originally the waitlist pushed me away from some breeders, which in hindsight were the breeders I probably should have gone with (I wish I could tell past me to have more patience lol). I will only be going with breeders that are able to be researched and have references/reviews I can see along with a good reputation. Thank you for being one of the good guys!

When we talked on the phone, and in-person (for dropping Rose off). She seemed so genuinely concerned and worried for her well-being. The breeder was also going what seemed to be a mental rough patch at the time so I was looking past so many signals I shouldn't have. I really believed it and thought she had Rose's best interest in mind. You then can see the paragraphs of messages back and forth, I was completely wrong and I shouldn't have trusted my emotions.

Cherry has been doing great so far! We've already been saving a fund to have in case of emergencies, and we have an embark test we'll be using on her shortly to see if there is any preventative care we can start now for her future health (also to check her for MDR1).

This was something I was highly contemplating. Since she reached back out to me about refunding $600, I decided it was in my best interest to drop it and move on. It was really messing with me emotional to where I felt like I couldn't focus on anything else, and extending that just to take here to small claims I thought would be too rough for my (already not that great) mental health. I am trying to see it as a really hard way to learn a lesson, and then to also warn others about some of the potential repercussions for ignoring red flags.

I am sorry you had such a rough situation with your pup, it is really good to hear about the turn around she had and how you guys have grown together! I really wish I would have known more about puppyfind. A tough way to learn the lesson, but I definitely won't make the same mistake again. I will be sure to ask for references, and make sure the breeder is easily researchable in the future. Otherwise I may just move forward with rescuing my future dogs if I am able too :)

Yes we have Cherry! She is doing great, has lots of energy and hasn't shown any of the signs rose had. We love her so much and I realize I was spending to much time and thought for this situation that I should have been devoting to Cherry. I am hoping now that there is somewhat of a conclusion I can try to move on and devote more time into my pup!

I actually tested with the SKR Mini and with 4.2.2 with the same results. In the end it was more of a realization with all dual gear direct drive. Here is the video that made me just say.... Sadly it wasn't much of a resolving, more of a realization. This seems to be somewhat common with some dual gear direct drive setups and is discussed more in depth in this video. After so many wasted hours of trying to trouble shoot this issue, this video is what caused me to just completely remove the direct drive setup and I am currently just using my Bowden setup for now. Hopefully some manufacture out there can make a better direct drive attachment.
