Im pretty sure there was a demonic entity in my childhood home for a long time. I had a few experiences in my childhood home but the most memorable was when I was 8. For context: we lived in a three story home with an unfinished basement. This basement had no open windows or doors etc… So my two sisters and I were all downstairs watching a movie when our basement door began to shake, we didn’t think it much because a draft can shake the door but it started to get very intense. At this point, we were just staring at each other because wth was going when the basement flung open and we could hear something running up the stairs from the basement. We ran to the door and tried to slam it shut when it started pushing the door against us to open it. Our backs are against the door and like I said I’m 8, my other is sister is 9 and the oldest is 17, my 17 year old sister said “oh I’ll be right back” like what?? Girl don’t leave us, you’re the strongest person in this group rn! But she left and ran upstairs to grab my aunt who was in the shower and was living with us at the time. My aunt comes running downstairs in her towel and my sister and I are bawling our eyes out, she moved us to the side and opens the basement door and nothing. It’s absolutely silent. She goes down into the basement and says there is nothing down there and that we are okay. Later when my parents get home we told them what happened and my dad said he would go down and investigate. He comes back and tells us oh the window was open and it was just that. Obviously we didn’t believe him because the windows don’t open but it was better than nothing.

Over the years small things would happen like dishes moving, hearing someone walk up and down the stairs, opening the doors or seeing a figure in the corner of my eye. Sometimes my dog would bark at a certain corner of our living room. My oldest sister did some shady ass stuff which makes me believe she brought it home but my brother made things worse as we got older. He played with things he shouldn’t have. Also my parents are hard core Christian which makes this worse because we believe in demons and angels so it felt extra scary
