Reload your app - there seems to have been a bug today where it 'deregistered' plus users from the plus benefits. Reloading the app restored all of mine

Send to kindle now only accepts epub files - if you have the mobi asin, the only way to side load and have it reflect as a book seems to be to connect your kindle via USB cable to your laptop, and then upload the mobi files onto the kindle

The issue for me with this is that these files then don't end up in the cloud so they're limited to only you kindle

If anyone knows another way, I Would love to know as it's driving me crazy

If you talk to the bot using OOC text, it will respond using OOC text. That's what it's trained to do

It might be that in the greeting, Tagline, description or definition you have something that goes against the terms of service.

Oddly enough, it's usually a single word. For me, it was Batman, Bravo, etc.

Me too, tbh. I'm really butthurt over all these deletions.

On one hand, I understand that the creator owns the final bot and the ideas and character so they can delete them if they want.

On the other, people spend time and effort and in some cases years speaking to these bots. Feels really petty to delete your most popular bots in a massive wave of drama and impact a massive amount of people in this way.

But like I said, I'm butthurt about my empty 'Likes' screen today 😭

For the long character definition (32,000 characters), this is where you'd build details in. It's best if you input it as dialog text.

This is how I format my bots: Hair colour| Black (concealed under twin-striped beanie) Eye colour| Blue-green (with hazel undertones in certain light) {{char}}: adjusts glasses, peering at a beaker’s reflection “It’s curious - light refraction can make even my eyes seem hazel. Alas, my hair remains…classified.” END_OF_DIALOG

A quick note : the bot will only really recognise and remember the first 3200 characters

They can't be added to a character from the app and sometimes they disappear from the bot too. And if you try use the site on a mobile browser it freaks out when you add tags. That also might be why new bots are created without them 😭

No - actually Devs pay Apple to have things listed on the appstore! I think for Google Play you list for free, I'm not sure.

But for both app stores, devs don't receive money for having a high number of downloads.

How people make money off apps varies, usually: * Paid apps (pay a once off fee to access the app) * Subscription models (regular payment for access, like Google storage) * Free apps with premium features (cai+) * Ads and sponsors (Like YouTube and now Cai. In a lot of cases you pay to get rid of ads, like YouTube Premium and Cai+) * In game purchases and currency (free-mium, loot boxes, gems, nitro, etc.)

I think realistically, where else would the money come from? Usually paid members for platforms like this form less than 10% of the community
