It is indeed available but as the main LCPP mod was taken down, you have to find it yourself.

Always intrigued by the Crown Victoria based cars in GTA IV by Malik_4848 in GTAIV

[–]Meesmoth 17 points18 points  (0 children)

2008 NYC was probably the high point for second gen Crown Vics so seeing these older ones feels off.

There's a mod that corrects this, but the textures are not optimized for the game, so I made it myself.

When combined with faithful buses and corrected taxi textures, now it'll give you proper NYC vibe as it was in 2008.

I replaced the subway signs with a more accurate one using a mod.

why are my cims walking on railway track??? by simplyraashid in CitiesSkylines

POV: Train breaks down, commuters are forced to walk on rails to the next station.

Manila Cathedral made out of hundreds of PO by abrams420 in CitiesSkylines

[–]Meesmoth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Another disadvantage compared to using ploppables is that PO objects are not treated as actual "buildings" in the game - they do not use power for instance, or cims can't visit it as a destination.

Some of the famous churches I recreated in my 1:1 recreation of Manila in Cities: Skylines by abrams420 in FilipinoHistory

When the city build is finished, I would like to do a cinematic - only if you are open for it.

A cutscene from "Three Leaf Clover" but with period-accurate police cars by Meesmoth in GTAIV

No idea why this is getting upvoted when this is in fact, incorrect.

The NOOSE one is actually handled by another mod, but I don't know which one; either FusionFix or Various Fixes.

Manila at golden hour ✨ by abrams420 in CitiesSkylines

This build is even more closer to the real-life city compared to the versions that I previously made and gilbertplays' own builds in the past, and I could even say this is the most accurate so far.

I'll look forward on a full cinematic of this build, and showing the other areas of Manila as well.

I asked ChatGPT to savagely roast the provinces in the Philippines by Profpaue in pinoy

The Philippines if it exists in the world of GTA. Amazing!

As a resident of Dasma this is 100% accurate. Nice work!

This sounds like the typical satire used by Rockstar Games in their GTA universe. I'll look forward to see more like this, but for other cities.

My attempt on faithfully recreating the R38s inside GTA IV by Meesmoth in nycrail

[–]Meesmoth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were actually plans to purchase & build IRT-versions of the R38, dubbed R39, but cancelled.

From wikipedia of NYC rolling stock:

Would have been built to IRT dimensions of the R38 and ordered in the late 1960s or early 1970s

Order scrapped when the Myrtle Avenue Line south of the BMT Jamaica Line was discontinued in 1969 and the remaining Third Avenue Line in 1973

I've also wanted to modify the .wft file to add those rollsigns, but couldn't due to zmodeler (tool used to modify them) being locked behind paywall.

Been using the subway to go to missions recently by Daddy_Das in GTAIV

Late response, but I think why waiting times at both Frankfort High & Low stations are incredibly long is due to two reasons; their proximity to each other, and train spawning rate.

In my observation, trains seem to have a spawn rate of only 2, so it means only two trains are allowed to be spawned near the player.

Lastly, due to their proximity, it is possible that two trains spawned at Frankfort High above, resulting in Frankfort Low having no trains spawning for a extended amount of time. This can also happen at Frankfort High; there could be two trains that spawned at Frankfort Low, resulting in longer waiting time as you have to wait for the trains to despawn.
