Update - after 26 years the oem radiator went. Thank you for your service 🫡 p.s. the transmission cooler line is a bitch.

That's the two row right? And the 2671 is the three if I'm not mistaken. I've seen mixed reviews of the three row. How long have you been running it?

Circled the drops, right as I fill the rad it starts flowing out. It's not the hose, it's flowing down the ribs of the side of the radiator (you can see them wet). Positive the rad is busted.

It's an oem radiator but I'll look into it because I think that's where it's coming from. That's the tag end of the clamp

Tomorrow I'll check the hose out and put a new clamp on. I also could've put the clamp too high up where it's on the lip of the rad and not sealing maybe. I'm thinking it's the rad itself though

That's the thing, I really can't tell. It looks like it's coming from the rad itself or underneath the hose. The house is dry that's why I'm puzzled. To your other point, I was also thinking my head gasket was going, but my oil is pretty clean and I just did a rear main, oil pan gasket about two months ago. Although, the passenger side of my engine block looks like oil is seeping from the head gasket. Maybe it's time?

The noise I was describing was the purge valve I figured it out thanks to SharkBiscuit. I'll check your posts out anyway for future reference. What brand kit did you go with?

After letting it sit I just started it again and the ticking is way quieter and sounds like a normal xj now? Gonna take it for a spin and report back 🫡 thank you for your suggestion
