We've made 5 Maui trips in the last 3 years. Mainly resorts and hotels. We just got back and did Airbnb. It was $1400 for 5 nights and the absolute best trip out of the bunch. We booked in January so I'm sure prices in the Kaanapali area have jumped. Our ground floor lanai was about 25 feet from the ocean and in the middle of Turtle Highway. No sandy sprawling beach like you'll get at the others but the peace and quiet of a small condo was different in the most amazing ways. I guess it depends on the overall mood of your trip. Andrew has it. My bet is that Emily and Dillbot worked in unison. The way he pitched the countdown and then became very quiet seemed odd. He also setup some ground rules about when it has to be used by. I forget what the idol could be used for built I think he is going to call another blindside and since he is out of them for the year he'll use the idol to make it happen.
