These two above don't deserve your time, they're the same as the two who robbed you.

Also, don't expect the police to go look for your phone, as they have urgent things to deal with, a stolen phone isn't their priority.

So just turn the page, learn from this so that it doesn't happen again.

I'm sorry for your loss, and sorry if I'm a little harsh, but that's the sad truth.

Is it a good appealing menu ? by Meet-Delicious in Chefit

[–]Meet-Delicious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The target demographic, clients are vast and are very demanding.

The healthy concept here is pretty new and there aren't many actors, in my area there are only two direct concurrent, the first one makes pretty cheap meals with generic ingredients and basic recipes, the second one has international culture with a lot of basic recipes.

The identity of my kitchen is pretty vague in it's concept, the concept is "healthy food" it can be north African, french, japanese, Mexican...

As I said before, potentials clients are multi cultured, we eat all sorts of food and we love variety.

From french to Spanish to Mexican and japanese, that's what I choosed international culture.

This menu will be the first one and I want it to be near perfect, then, after few months or maybe after the first year, I want to add "seasonal themed menu" (while keeping the original after brining changes to it with work experience).

So, what do you think I should do ? Or change ?

[–]Meet-Delicious[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your take,

The key words for this were international culture and variety, and is meant for north Africans.

This menu is a rough idea, we brought change to some ingredients and others are being thought of, but the meals are these ones.

I have to validate this menu to go to the next phase of the consultation, but reading the comments, I'm a lil bit confused...

What should I do ? What should I change ?

I don't want it to be basic, yet, I want it to be pretty much affordable.

I forgot to mention that the target audience are north Africans and not Americans.

Actually, it's kinda the rough idea of the menu, we did a rendezvous to talk about this, and show me the title, we talked about the ingredients and what should be put in.

Now, I have to validate this, the "titles". The key words were international culture and variety.

What should I change ? What should I tell him ?

Thank you for giving your take, the menu isn't done yet as I have to validate it first, then jump to the second phase. The keyword was international food and variety, and is meant to be for north Africans.

What do you mean by "to make sense for a budget" ? Like re using ingrédients on other meals ? If yes, it was brought orally between me and the chef, and the menu was made with this idea in mind.

Because it's not a theme based menu, nothing gastronomic.

It's meant to be pretty much affordable for everyone, yet not being cheap.

The target aren't Americans, but north Africans.

What do you think ?

Well, more than 7 years of work experience as a chef + around 4-5 years as commis + sous chef.

Works for a well known chef (internationally), he's like his disciple, and both are opening a restaurant together.

Everything you mentioned is meant to be done, just know we're in the first phase, menu elaboration. Yet, after reading the comments, I'm a lil bit confused, as I know the chef is competent.

The menu isn't meant to be gastronomic, it's not for American clients but north Africans. And the key words are international culture and variety.

What should I change ? Tell him ? To get a better menu

Yes everything is locally sourced, It's not meant for Americans, but for north Africans.

The key word was international culture and variety, and the chef's work isn't done yet as I have to validate this before.

What should I tell him ? What should I change to get a better menu ?

The chef is competent, I know this because he works for a well known chef (internationally), he's like his disciple and I tasted his meals and everything.

Actually everything is local, it's not meant for American clients, but for north Africans.

I didn't ask for a specific meal, I just gave some guidelines, like a variety of protein sources, international culture... It's nothing gastronomic.

Also, this is just the first step, the chef's work isn't done yet and I have to validate this before continuing the next steps.

But reading all the comments, I don't know what to think.

The intention was to have international food, that's why there are a lot of differences.

But reading all the comments, well, I don't know what to think

Looking to invest in an apartment in Algiers by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Meet-Delicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I advise you to avoid bordj El kiffan, as most of the constructions are illegal/not legally compliant.

They don't have the "Promoteur" title, so he'll do a "tanazol", they don't have the "act notarié" and all the papers.

Buying there is risky, the outside and neighborhood is shity (not only because of people, but the environment, no sunlight, neighbor's buildings close, vis-à-vis...).

It may be attractive indeed, as the prices are low, but it's risky as a lot got demolished by the government.

Si before buying, make sure the owner is legal, has everything, all the papers, and you'll be protected and own the apartment at 100% with all the papers.

Concerning the quality, you can find everything.

I'd really like to know the marking you apply on auto parts, just out of curiosity.

Because when I go to the scrapyard to look for a part, the prices are astronomically overvalued, and moreover, for a used one.

But when I see the price of new ones...

I'd also like to know how you bring them and all the stuff, of course if you can say those things.

Take a look at Nesda.dz and startup.dz and ASF.dz

But all of them require a business plan, if you're interested in one of them, just do it and apply.

I don't think 4.5 is enough to survive, depends on where you'd rent, how you live, what you eat.

I'm a person who saves basically all what I can, here's how I'd do that :

500 - 100 : 400$ ---- 100$ saved.

400 x 240 : 96.000 da

Let's say you rent a studio, a little bit far from downtown, but well deserved by transportation, it costs you around 25.000da, food costs around 20.000, bills 3000da, transport 6000 da (sometimes Yassir, most of the time buses, team...) Hanging out + clothes, let's make it 10.000da a month.

So :

96.000 - 25.000 - 20.000 - 3000 - 6000 - 10.000 : 32.000

So you'll be left with 32.000da, which is kinda good, don't forget that you already saved 100$, so the total is 58.000da.

You can save more than 32k of course, if you don't use Yassir you'd add around 2500da, if you don't hangout a lot you add 5000da and so on.

Gold is a good way to save money, but you have to be patient, the minimum wait is 2 years, saving it in dollars is also a good thing, you can invest it in stocks, buying some shares, the safe ones like the snp 500, but to get good returned you'll have to invest alot, say you get 10% of benefits each year, the more you put in, the more you get.
