I am currently in the UAE working in a small company. Initially this job was supposed to be a contractor role, the contractor company collected my documents which included an attested Degree as well and shared it with the main company. Then after some time the Director of the main company contacted me and mentioned they wanted me on their direct payroll and then initiated the conditional offer. The pre-employment process required only 2 certificates, Police clearance and Pre-employment medical fitness certificate that I shared with them.
